    Day 01: Kochi – Munnar

    As you begin your wonderful tour of Kerala. Arrive into Kochi and drive to Munnar – a beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never-ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate make it a haven for visitors. On arrival proceed to the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Munnar.

    Day 02: Munnar

    After breakfast, visit the Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary – home to the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Thars. En-route visit Nyamakad – a land of breathtaking waterfalls that cascade down from a height of 1600 meters. Later return to Munnar and enjoy time at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.

    Day 03: Munnar

    After breakfast visits Top Station for great panoramic views. This area is famous for exceptional flowers such as Neelakurinji. Later proceed to the Echo point – this place has a natural echo phenomenon. Visit the Mattupetty Dam and the Kundala tea plantation. Overnight in Munnar.

    Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar) (Approx. 5 hours)

    After breakfast depart for Thekkady – India’s largest wildlife reserve. Arrive into Thekkady and check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Periyar lake, around which the wildlife sanctuary is built. Here you can opt for a boat ride to view wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Overnight in Thekkady.

    Day 05: Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx. 5 hrs )

    After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. On the shores of the picturesque Vembanad lake – a freshwater lagoon – Kumarakom is a cluster of fishing villages. The region's specialties are Karimeen, considered the tastiest fish available in Kerala and fresh Toddy (local drink). Arrive into Kumarakom and check into the hotel. The rest of the day at leisure to explore the beautiful backwaters. Overnight in Kumarakom.

    Day 06: Kumarakom

    After breakfast, visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary – a diamond in India’s ecological crown. The Vembanad Lake will give you the pleasure to see a variety of migratory birds that cluster in thousands, some from the Himalayas, and some even from the snow-kissed hills of Siberia, a true multicultural avian metropolis. Overnight in Kumarakom.

    Day 07: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Approx 1.5 Hrs)

    After breakfast depart for Alleppey – The Venice of The East. Alleppey is one of the most magnificent backwater sites of India. On arrival check into a houseboat. Overnight in a houseboat in Alleppey.

    Day 08: Alleppey – Kochi (Approx 2 Hrs)

    After breakfast proceeds to Kochi and returns home with wonderful memories of your holiday.
